Sorry!!!!!!!!

Hello and welcome to the latest month of lessons by Keyplay4u and what a month it has been. I need to begin with an apology for the delay in sending out this months lessons but I have been severely hit by a computer virus and as a result have lost so much data from my machine.

It turned out to be a virus that could not be removed without taking the drastic action of re formatting my hard drive! As we are in the position of forwarding data via e mail to all of our members then I had to be certain that we were clean before we sent anything out this month.

I hope therefore that you will understand that I have not had time to put a full site up this month. We have however managed to re record the video lessons which are complete and we do have an article and piece of music kindly supplied by Peter Hayward.

We will however make sure that everything is back in order for next month. Looks like all of the benefits of my relaxing week in Tenerife have evaporated very quickly !!!

In keeping with the requests of our members it appears that in general you are prefering the format of including extra video time rather than text articles. We are however still loking for suggestions for topics you would like us to try to cover.

Music to accompany videos

I have been asked by several members as to why we don’t produce music scores to accompany the songs I use in the on line videos.

The answer is two fold

The copyright fees for reproduction of such music are simply too much.

2) The aim of all of our videos is to teach you techniques which I hope you can utilise in many pieces of music NOT just copy the example I use. It is not our intention to teach you to play specific tunes but to enhance your playing in general by using the techniques we show.
